BRANDING

A complete rebrand and Webflow website for a marine engineering consultancy operating at the cutting edge of complex vessel projects.
As EMS expanded beyond systems design into consultancy and owner’s representation, the brand shifted from Engineered Marine Systems to the shorter, more flexible name, EMS.
To avoid losing clarity with a three-letter acronym, we designed a bespoke boat logomark, keeping the brand concise while anchoring it in the marine industry.

We started with strategy to define purpose, personality and positioning. Then built a full visual identity system, distilled in the Brand Manual.
This manual sets out guidelines for the successful implementation of the brand identity. This flexible framework ensures consistency, while providing scope for creativity.

We translated the new brand into a clear, confident website that reflects the precision of EMS’s work. Content is structured around real project stages, helping clients quickly understand where EMS adds value.

Built in Webflow, the site includes a flexible CMS that allows the team to easily add new projects.

“We instantly liked the colour additions and lettermark upgrade, and the website looks fab. Very happy with it. You’ve done a fantastic job.”
